That is my shadow running along the fence line. I took the picture while standing up on the tractor.

Here are the bones of some unfortunate ram or goat critter which was carried onto our property after dining. There was an empty jar of mint sauce with it....

I got to thinking about when to burn this brush pile, and then it hit me. St. Patrick lit a bonfire on Easter - rather, at sunset on Holy Saturday. What better time to burn our little patch of flammable Ireland than on this coming Saturday? Of course, several criteria would have to be met: verification that the burn ban for the county is lifted, standby water, minimal wind, and some other issues would all have to fall into place. I am hoping I could start a new Irish tradition on our property, and I am certain I could come up with a pile of brush just as large next year!

Now don't be silly DWNK! That's not a garden...it's a whole countryside!
That property to the West of us was just sold - 24 acres. I think it is God's way of telling us to put in a swimming pool. But first, we have to get rid of every bit of debt....
Wow! I love your garden. Hopefully after we have our 6+ kids, we can settle down on a nice piece of land. We have just 1 boy now and 1 boy on the way. I love big families. SO much fun.
Last night we got a freeze and lost a lot of these plants despite covering them. Bummer.
That stinks. Sorry for the loss of your plants. =(
Praised be Jesus!
Gee,to me your garden looks beautiful! A lot of work to because it is so big. Actually a farm. Keep posting about it, please! And I hope you will have a BLESSED EASTER!
